Description

Do you wonder why we’re still stuffing municipal and commercial waste into the ground? Curious if there’s an alternative to traditional incinerator technology?

Bob Mills will overview the increasingly popular technology for waste management, plasma gasification. This technology holds promising potential to turn municipal, commercial, and industrial toxic waste in synthetic gas. This Syngas can then be used for fuel in internal combustion engines to generate electricity, and combined with heat recovery systems can be incorporated in co-eneration systems.

Plasco currently operates a 100 tonne-per-day commercial demonstration facility in Ottawa and a 5 tonne-per-day R&D center in Spain. Plasco is also developing opportunities in Red Deer, Europe, and China.

Join us to find out how toxic railway ties and rubber tires can be turned into green electricity.
